Weiand introduced the original "swingarm" style blower drives way back in the early 1960's and they rapidly became standard equipment for front engine dragsters, gassers and altereds. The drive was also featured in the 1970's cult classic "Mad Max" movie on Mel Gibson's Interceptor Coupe. Discontinued for years, this unit has become highly desirable and could only be found occasionally by scouring swap meets and e-Bay. Due to popular demand, Weiand has brought back the classic "swingarm" front drive and matching correct pulleys to make building that nostalgia racer or Mad Max replica easier than ever. Drive kits are currently available in unpolished / as cast for installation on any 6-71 supercharger case assembly.
